1998 completed a 3 yrs apprenticeship in dog & cat grooming at Mad About Dogs & Cats Grooming Parlour, Mill Hill, London
1998 Started Poppets Petcare as a business in North London, offering dog home boarding in my own home & owners’ homes.
2001 moved Poppets Petcare to Barming, Maidstone & started my own dog/cat grooming salon
iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management
Level 2 & Level 3 First Aid trained
Poppets Petcare offers dog home boarding in our own home for your precious fur babies whilst you are at work or having a long break or holiday away from them.
Before taking on clients’ dogs, we like to arrange an informal meeting with yourselves & your dog. This gives opportunity for all parties to establish a bond & helps us to gauge how your dog will respond to our environment

Dog Boarding overnight rate:
Small to medium breeds £35.00 per night For example: Chihuahua, Cockapoo to West Highland Terrier size
Larger breeds £48.00 per night For example: Labrador to Goldendoodle size
Doggy Day Care:
Morning drop-off 08.00 - 10.00. Evening collection 16.00 - 18.00
Small to medium breeds: £24.00 per day Larger breeds: £30.00 per day
Dog Boarding drop-off and collection times:
Mornings 08.00 - 10.00 Please advise us of your expected drop-off and collection Evenings 16.00 - 18.00 times and if delayed, please call to let us know.

Details such as your contact information, your pet’s health history, temperament, grooming preferences, and any special requirements allow us to tailor each appointment to your pet’s individual needs. All information provided will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of delivering professional grooming services and ensuring your pet’s wellbeing while in our care.

Customer Checklist
Things to remember for your dog’s holiday
● All vaccinations or course of vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to any boarding
● Dog(s) to be in good health for arrival. “In-season” dogs will NOT be accepted
● Emergency Contact to be informed prior to dog’s stay
● Dog’s bed/blanket and food/treats supplied by yourself
● Booking fee of 50% must be paid within 24 hours of initial enquiry or after a successful introduction
● By signing these forms I am agreeing to follow through with this booking and pay any fees due
● Remaining 50% must be paid 28 days before check-in, if booking less than 28 days in advance of check-in, then full fees are due .
● Please arrive on time. If you arrive early, please wait until agreed time to ring the doorbell. If you are running late you must call or text on 07713 703755 (other means of contact, such as Facebook or Whatsapp may not be received)
● If you are more than 15 minutes late with no contact to arrange a new time for drop off or collection, I may not be available and may need to rearrange at a time to suit
● If the service is cancelled up to 28 days before commencement of the check-in date, the booking fee will be held on account for future services or where no future bookings are required the booking fee will be non-refundable. When the service is cancelled within 28 days of commencement of the check-in date or you fail to show up for the booking, the full amount is payable.Poppets Petcare does not charge an extra administration fee for cancelled bookings.

Vet Release Form
This Veterinary Release Form gives Poppets Pet Care permission to seek veterinary advice or treatment for your pet in the event of illness, injury, or emergency while they are in our care.
By signing this form, you authorise us to contact your registered veterinary practice or an alternative vet if necessary and to follow professional medical guidance in your pet’s best interest.
You agree that all veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the pet owner and that every reasonable effort will be made to contact you before treatment whenever possible.
